Process of our BBU Mural

On our fifth year continuing the mural project the young people decided they wanted to create a Black&Brown Unity mural. The theme of this mural was to highlight the stories of black and brown men who had been incarcerated or in a detention center. The youth also wanted to include different aspects of history, culture, and struggles that we share. The mural was in collaboration with Allan Temple Church and their youth. In this video we follow the process of creating this beautiful mural in Deep East Oakland.
